Glass and Ceramics Studio ZAJDEL specialises in the processing and shaping of flat glass by fusing and slumping technique.
More than 20 years of experience
Glass and Ceramics Studio ZAJDEL specialises in the processing and shaping of flat glass by fusing and slumping technique.
We use ceramic and steel moulds from our own production to shape flat glass.
In addition, the company manufactures chamotte moulders, used in glass factories throughout Poland.
Not insignificantly, the location of our company is in Krosno, in Poland, famous for its glass industry.
fired at 1100ºC
As the only company in Poland, Glass and Ceramics Studio ZAJDEL, produces ceramic moulds. Essential product to maximize outcome from glass forming, using the fusing and slumping methods.
Ceramic moulds are created according to our own ideas, but also following the suggestions and needs of our customers.
The concave and convex shapes with a variety of patterns and sizes from 8 to 140 cm make it possible to create interesting effects and unlimited creativity in the field of various techniques of glass shaping and decoration.
Thanks to the ceramic material and the firing temperature of 1100°C, they are durable and resistant to rapid temperature changes, which is made possible by the relaxation curve of the fusing glass.
The moulds’s walls have thickness of 5 to 10 mm (depending on the size of the mould), the advantage of which is low energy consumption, which translates into a shorter cooling time of the furnace.
Each mould requires use of sprayed or powdered separator to create a thin protective layer that allows the glass to adhere to the mould.
More than 20 years of experience
The experience gained in the construction and repair of furnaces for melting and processing of glass, work in Krosno Glassworks factory of the founder of the Studio, Mr. Bogdan Zajdel, and cooperation with glassworks throughout Poland, allowed us to develop and expand our business to the production of electric furnaces, which we use for its own purposes in flat glass processing.
As a result, a wide range of our products and services, guarantees excellent quality and durability, as well as reliable in the implementation of individual orders.
Given that we have full control over the entire product manufacturing process, we analyse every step and process to positively affect not only the quality and cost of production, but also the environment and improve the quality of life.
Our company’s goal is to increase the use of renewable energy sources so that the creation of our products has even less impact on the environment.
DURABLE COLOR FOR MANY YEARS
Through the precise melting, bending, forming, and decorating of glass, using our own ceramic moulds, we can develop individual as well as mass production of elements and finished products, from decorative and ornamental glass.
The results include wall and garden decorations and ornaments, figurines, and functional glass such as platters and bowls, candle holders, glass sinks, mouldings, decors, as well as bent flat glass, are also products of our Studio.
The glass elements and products can then be framed, as well as combined with other materials such as wood, metal, stone or ceramics.
The studio is expanding its collections of artistic fused glass compositions used to decorate fences, gates and exterior walls, which acquire additional charm thanks to light effects.
The advantage of fusing glass is permanent colour – our products maintain it for many years, despite the passing of time and various weather conditions. Also durable in shape – unlike many other materials like paper or wood, especially when exposed to the outdoors conditions, glass shaped on our moulds maintains its unchanged character.
Very little was said about the fact the fusing glass take part in improvement of quality of life and positive impact on human well-being, when properly applied.
Our new product have been registered as Industrial designs in the EU
HIGH QUALITY AND DURABILITY
Glass and Ceramics Studio ZAJDEL manufactures chamotte moulders and other chamotte elements, which are used by glass production aggregates.
The chamotte moulders are made from high-quality Jarosz clay, and German Großalmerode clay, and fired in a chamber kiln at 1100°C.
All chamotte items are very durable, they allow to increase the efficiency and productivity of glass production aggregates, automatically reducing their emissions.
The experience gained in the construction and repair of glass production aggregates and processing furnaces, work in Krosno Glassworks Factory of the Studio’s founder, Mr. Bogdan Zajdel, and cooperation with glassworks throughout Poland, allowed us to develop and improve the production of chamotte moulders and other chamotte elements.
At the request of those interested, individual dimensions of chamotte moulders and other chamotte elements can be tailored to your needs.
